Emma Kiss
Registered Clinical Counsellor
Emma (she/her) is a registered clinical counsellor known for her ability to create a warm and safe therapeutic relationship from which she and her clients can work together as a team to navigate life’s challenges and changes.
Coming from a background in medical research, Emma has worked extensively providing support services to individuals with eating disorders, anxiety, chronic illness, chronic pain, terminal illness, and bereavement. She has also worked with charities supporting female-identifying and non-binary individuals, members of the LGBTQ2S+ community, and individuals with diverse abilities and needs.
Her areas of interest include supporting individuals with anxiety, facing life transitions, grief and loss, perfectionism, and more. Emma values using interventions and tools with strong empirical support (such as those of CBT), while also using curiosity, empathy, and collaboration with her clients to meet their unique individual needs.
